We're excited to be hosting a training camp at the beautiful Sleeping Giant Provincial Park this August!  (Limited to 50 participants)

*Must be at least 18 years of age to stay at the group sites.

*SUP Demo by Wilderness Supply on Saturday. Timelines TBA.

What's this Run Camp all about? We're glad you asked:

- A weekend of guided group runs, with a focus on connection and adventure.

- Structured training runs and strength & mobility sessions with options for varying abilities and experience

- Group discussions on running-related topics

- Unstructured times to encourage connection

- Free electric group campsite (no trailers allowed)

- Free catered meals for: Friday's dinner, Saturday's lunch and Saturday's dinner + Evening S'mores options!  (more details coming soon)

We have secured large group campsites for everyone.  Although people are not required to stay in these group sites, we strongly encourage to spend time with a group. Sharing meals and hanging out during unstructured times is a huge part of this experience, so dust off your tents, bust out those sleeping mats and come hang with us! (No trailers allowed in the group camp sites)

Prior to the weekend, participants will receive information on topics, such as:

  • Safety in the park (planning, gear list, what to bring, animal encounters)

  • Navigating the park

  • Hydration and Fueling tips

  • Dressing for comfort

We will be offering different group options for all abilities (each with guides)

Pace groups:

1) Party Pace - You like to savour the experience and are more interested in taking it slow. Regardless of your experience, you're here to have fun, run and take in the scenery!

2) FGT Pace - You don't mind turning up the heat once in a while, but you're not exactly out there to snag an Fastest Known Time (FKT), because at the end of the day, you're more into Frickin Good Times!

3) Spicy Pace - You like to turn up and move fast through nature. You're here to enjoy yourself, but want to squeeze a little extra juice from this experience. It's likely that if you get a chance for a double in a day or ripping up and down hills, you're all over it!

The fee for this camp will be $229+ HST.

The goal of the Sleeping Giant Run Camp is to build connection and create a memorable experience filled with adventure, great training and plenty of laughs! We want to also share knowledge on trail running between all participants and build skills that will make you a better trail runner; learn to enjoy your trail running experience and adventure outside of what you have done before; make new trail running friends, and strengthen and grow our trail running community.

We received tons of great feedback from the last run camps a few years back, and we're excited to be bringing it back! We will have 50 spots available on a first come, first served basis.

We hope to see you there!
